a werewolf and a king
a werewolf
A village where the children sing
and the gypsies moan
The streets are cold and callus
With the fear that nightide brings
They say a wolf roams the moors by night
And everyone is cursed
For the howl is heard like a banshee wail
And good folk pray for light
They lock the doors and say a prayer
That the gods may land a hand
But silence is the answer
In a cold and broken land
They say a wolf walks upward
On two legs just like a man
And he hungers most at moonlight
And will kill all that he can

THE KING
The jester balances the ball
In the hall just for the king
Who rings a bell and claps his hands
For two servants come to call
“Come jester tell me tales
Of when dragons filled the skies
And the knights that drew their fire
Not afraid to die”
“Oh sire, there was such a man
Who drank the dragon’s blood
He slew the dragon-Nalbithe
And dragged him through the mud”
“And what of him that did this task
What did become of him”
“He settled fast the eastern shore
Ans swore allegiance to the king

The second one has a great scheme. Flows well.
You wrote the king so well. Loved it you play with words so nicely and effectively.
