Such an apt description... Born and raised in Winter Wonderland,(Michigan), I detested the cold. Living in other cold states did nothing to change that. Had to flee the country for relief 😆.
Of the three, Winter stayed with me the longest. The physical cold gradually becomes something deeper, until it feels like a reflection of memory, hardship, and endurance rather than just the season itself.
